Small Caps Font Generator
Every letter capitalized but sized like lowercase — a quiet, consistent look that's easier to read than most decorative styles.
A style built for readability, not decoration
Small caps is unusual among fancy text styles because it was designed by typographers for readability, not for standing out. Every letter is capitalized, but capitals meant to read at lowercase height sit more evenly on a line than a normal mix of upper and lowercase — which is why you'll see small caps used in print for things like author names, section headers, and abbreviations.
As a small caps font generator, this page converts both uppercase and lowercase input to the same small-caps glyph set, so it doesn't matter how you originally typed your text.
A gap worth knowing about
Two letters — Q and X — don't have a small-caps glyph in the main Unicode blocks most devices support well, so Jeweri falls back to a regular lowercase x, and a Latin Extended-D small-caps Q that renders on most current phones but occasionally not on older software. If a name with an X or Q looks slightly inconsistent, that's why.
Common questions
Is small caps the same as just using SHIFT + all caps?
No. Regular all-caps text uses full-height capital letters for every character. Small caps uses capital-shaped letters sized closer to lowercase, which is a visually different (and, most typographers would argue, more elegant) effect — and it requires the special Unicode characters this generator produces, since there's no keyboard shortcut for it.
Why do some fonts render small caps oddly?
Small caps pulls letters from several different, older Unicode blocks (Latin Extended, IPA Extensions, Phonetic Extensions) rather than one uniform block, so its appearance can vary slightly more between fonts than something like bold or italic does.
Where does small caps get used most?
Instagram taglines, Discord nicknames, and email signatures are the most common places — anywhere you want text that reads as "styled" without sacrificing much legibility.
