Two cursive styles, one lighter than the other

Jeweri generates cursive text in two weights: a lighter Script style and a heavier Bold Script style, both built from Unicode's mathematical script letters — the same block that gives you the ℒ in a stylised monogram or the ℬ in certain typeset equations, repurposed here for ordinary words. Regular Italic is included alongside them for a subtler, less curly alternative.

Script letterforms are naturally harder to read than upright ones, especially in a language other than English or in longer sentences, so cursive Unicode fonts tend to work best on short strings — a first name, a single word, a monogram-style initial.

A small technical note

A few capital script letters (B, E, F, H, I, L, M, R) and a few lowercase ones (e, g, o) don't exist as separate "script" code points in Unicode — the standard reuses older mathematical symbol characters for them instead, which can render with very slightly different proportions on some fonts. It's a quirk of how the Unicode block was originally built for notation, not for cursive writing, and it's worth knowing about if a letter in your name looks a touch different from its neighbours.
